Kerala Retreat

Details of my India Retreat February 2027

We are really excited to have negotiated what I'm sure you'll agree is an excellent package for our Kerala Retreat in 2027!

We have reserved 10 rooms for 10 nights at single occupancy rates on Cherai Beach in Kerala. I have visited the venue myself recently and I am delighted with the location, the high quality accommodation and the whole experience that I have worked out with the owner of the resort and her delightful all-female team. It really does feel like paradise !

Here's a taster of what the price will include:

A single room for 10 nights with king size / double bed, all ensuite
3 nutritious meals a day (vegetarian, Ayurvedic food)
Use of 2 pools and grounds backing onto the backwaters.
2 day trip excursions to Fort Kochi, a vibrant town with lots of shopping opportunities, cafes, art galleries and things to see
Trip to see a Khatakali dance performance
Boat trip on the backwaters
Visit to local waterfalls
Cookery demonstration ( Ayurvedic / local cuisine)
4 X Dance masterclass from a local Classical Indian dancer inc sari gift and group performance
Visit to see local women's traditional weaving loom cooperative
2 x Gentle Yoga sessions by local teacher
7 x Earthdance movement sessions
10 x Relaxing Yoga Nidra meditation sessions

This is an amazing opportunity to visit this wonderful, spiritual and vibrant part of India...a special place to relax, unwind and just chill. Take part in all the activities or just the ones you fancy...it really is your retreat, your choice. There will be plenty of time to relax by the pool, lounge in a hammock or just sit watching the sunset and the sun rise. The sun rises over the backwaters at the venue and sets over the Arabian Sea which is a 5 minute walk from the venue.

We have decided not to work in partnership with Yoga United and therefore will be managing all bookings and marketing ourselves. We will be working closely with the owner of our resort who is locally born so has a wealth of knowledge and connections in the local area. Along with her delightful team we will be very well cared for.

The dates and prices have now been agreed as follows:
Arrival Date: Tuesday 16th February 2027
Departure Date: Friday 26th February 2027

Price: £1,250

Deposit: £300 (non refundable, unless we cancel)
This includes all activities, trips and performances as well as all meals and accommodation and airport transfers.

The only extra money you will need will be for shopping, any additional meals out at local restaurants, tips and excursions outside of the itinerary.

We will support you nearer the time with suggested flight details, full visa support and FAQs.

There are ONLY TEN rooms available for booking so to secure a place, please pay your deposit of £300 as soon as possible.

At present, only people who have completed the Expression of Interest form can book. You are welome to fill in the form now and we will send you our newsletter. If all ten rooms have not been booked by 1st April, we will advertise the retreat to the wider community.

Once we have received your deposit we will be sending more communications and photos about the retreat, add you to a Whatsapp group nearer the time and allow you access to a "Members" area on the Earthdance website where we will post more details.
