My name is Jen and I live on the east Suffolk coast where land meets sea.
I am a community artist and movement teacher. I discovered dance over 20 years ago and began my exploration of movement and dance by attending belly dance classes.
Many years later I discovered Nia dance which re-ignited my passion for movement and well-being. I became a Nia teacher qualified at brown belt level but still there was a piece of the puzzle missing.
In my quest for personal and spiritual growth I qualified as a yoga teacher specialising in vinyasa and yin and more recently I qualified as an ecoNIDRA facilitator.
My movement practice was beginning to centre around the earth’s cycles, the elements and much deeper ancestral movement. Through movement I wanted to invite students to be curious about our wider connection to our planet, to seek knowledge and to experience movement that takes its foundation from the earth’s elements. And so Elemental Earthdance was born; an ever-evolving practice to experience the joy of movement as part of a wider connection to our magical earth. Join me on this amazing journey of discovery of the mind, body and spirit.
Elemental Earthdance gives you an opportunity to experience movement and dance for pure well-being. No experience is needed, just a willingness to give it a go. You can just turn up, dance and leave feeling better for a physical movement practice, or you can experience the deeper layers of Elemental Earthdance where movement becomes alchemy and your journey can lead you to a full body, mind and spirit transformation.
